About this slipmat

What is the difference with the all-round slipmats?

Thickness of the slipmat
These slipmats are 1.5mm thick, instead of the 2.5mm thick all-round slipmats.
This ensures that the needle lies slightly lower and more stable in the groove, reducing the risk of skipping while cueing.
Especially for 7-inch scratch DJs who use turntables such as the Numark PT01, this is the ideal slipmat for cueing. -
The underlay of the slipmat
The bottom has a very smooth layer, unlike the more grippy all-round slipmats. This has a great influence on the use and feel of the slipmat; it makes it much easier to turn it.
A little gust of wind and the slipmat starts to spin.
Ideal for technical DJs who like to push boundaries with scratching, beat juggling and turntablism.

We cut, print and package all our slipmats in-house. The felt we use for the slip mats is produced especially for us in the Netherlands.

The top feels soft and is a beautiful material for printing. There is a light coating on the underside.
We have 2 types of slip mats;
- 12"All-round (2.5mm thick)
The top is soft and consists of very small hairs. We have provided the underside with a light coating that makes the slipmat slightly firmer. This coating also ensures that the slipmat has a little more grip on the platter of your turntable.

both DJs and listeners.
- 12" Scratch 1.5mm & 7" slipmat
Both our scratch 12" and our 7" slip mats are made of the same material. The top is just a soft top layer, just like the all-round slipmat, but the bottom is different. This has a smooth coating (glazed). This ensures that the slipmat moves very easily, and makes it ideal for agile DJs.
Suitable for:
Scratch DJs, beat jugglers, and any other DJs who do more than simply mix records together.
